Cobi the Emotional Support Pet

Emotional Support Pet

There are numerous benefits of the human animal bond. Cobi will come to the youth's place of resident. He's a dog who loves to be outside. He loves lap time while reading a book. He enjoys people who can get down on his level.

Emotional support animals (ESAs) can help youths with a variety of mental health conditions and emotional struggles. They can help with:

  • Mood: ESAs can help boost mood and reduce feelings of loneliness.
  • Stress: ESAs can help lower stress levels.
  • Sense of purpose: Caring for an ESA can give a sense of purpose and responsibility.
  • Empathy: ESAs can help teach empathy and compassion.
  • Social skills: ESAs can help children with autism spectrum disorder develop social skills.
  • Trauma: ESAs can help reduce symptoms of PTSD and other trauma-related symptoms.
  • Safe outlet: Pets can be a safe outlet for secrets and private thoughts.
